Make a difference!

The 7th Annual Free Them 5k to Stop Human Trafficking will be happening again on May 9th, 2015! Last year's event drew 1,500 participants and raised more than $167,000 to help protect women and children from being trafficked. The Free Them 5k Run/Walk to fight human trafficking is a tangible way to take a stand against one of the most horrific crimes of our generation. Your participation raises awareness and funds for World Concern's trafficking prevention programs, which protect the poor and vulnerable, providing opportunities for education and to earn income safely.

Can't make it to the Shoreline race? Check out the Virtual Free Them 5k!

I'm not an athlete. Can I still participate?

Being an athlete is not a requirement. You'll have fun walking or jogging the race. It's also a great event for experienced runners.

What is Packet Pick-Up?

Packet Pick-Up is just another term for Check-In. At packet pick-up you will get your goodie bag, bib, and T-shirt.

We encourage you to take advantage of early packet pick-up at each race: May 7 and 8, 2015, at Campbell Nelson VW/Nissan in Shoreline.

What if it rains?

This is a rain or shine event. And it's in Seattle! But we will say, we've had beautiful weather the past few years of this event.

Can we bring dogs or strollers?

Yes, but we ask that you clean up after your dog and keep strollers toward the back of the group as it can get crowded.

Is it a timed race?

We have a clock available for participants to see, but we do encourage self-timing.

Can kids run?

Of course! This is a super-fun event for the whole family.

Can I take video or pictures?

Please do! And make sure you share them on all of our social media outlets!

Will there be food available?

Yes! We will have food available to purchase from a hip local food truck.

Is there anything for people to do while they are waiting for runners to finish?

Yes, we have plenty of activities going on for families and friends waiting for participants. You can also stay after the race and enjoy the activities.

If I can't attend, can I get a refund?

Yes, please email us within the first 60 days of your registration at info@worldconcern.org to request a refund of your registration fee.

For any other questions, please email us at info@worldconcern.org. Or, to volunteer please email us at volunteer@worldconcern.org
